Education requirements
600 hours from a board approved school

CEU requirements
16 hours
Increase of on-line or distance learning from 6 to now 8 hours.
Expansion of approved classes to include nearly anything related to massage or a massage practice. Examples include: marketing, business management, Reiki, and Oils.
Removal of CPR as a REQUIREMENT, but it will still count as an automatic 2 hours of “hands-on”.
Replacement of “Category A & B” distinction with a simple “hands-on” qualification. In other words, if you take the class in person, it counts for the required 8 hours every two years.
